PAHALGAM

Pahalgam is a town in Anantnag district in Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a very popular tourist destination. Pahalgam is actually a hill station. This famous hill station is 45 km away from the main city of District Anantnag and is located on the bank of river at an altitude of 7200 ft. from the sea level. Pahalgam is also one of the tehsils of Anantnag district. It is one of the best tourist attraction and shooting of many bollywood movies has been held in Pahalgam. Pahalgam also has a number of tourist huts, hotels which provide modern facilities.
